White Keds -My fashion Staple

Every December I buy myself a new pair of all white sneakers. I don’t know why it has to be specifically December but I do it every December. I consider them a fashion staple because they’re easy to dress and because I dread heels. OK so maybe dread is an exaggeration, it’s more of my personality best relates to a laid back/moderately rugged look but I will wear heels if the occasion calls for it or when in the mood.

Moving on, white sneakers work very well with jeans (flared, boot-cut, and skinnies alike), khaki’s, trousers, solid or patterned skirts, shorts, and cut-offs; all of which are suitable for my casual lifestyle. So in gearing for the new season to come I’m going back to the brand of my first white sneaks for 2009.. KEDS!

I’ve used Keds for several years and have no complaints whatsoever. I can’t say enough about how comfortable this brand is.. Not that anything more needs to be said, I mean the name does speak for its self. But they really are fabulous shoes to wear if you’re out to do a lot of walking and still want an effortless pristine look.

Keds Hampton Sport LTT (Women's) - White Stretch Twill This year, I’m going with the more contemporary Keds Hampton Sport in stretch twill. It also comes in leather but I’ve always preferred stretch twill or canvass over leather. You get a hugging fit with twill and added softness with canvass and for me they compliment your casual wardrobe much better than leather. If you’re not too particular with the finish then you can go with absolutely any Keds shoe… satisfaction in comfort guaranteed!
